Seal

Seal your wallet to your GitHub.

Do this once. You sign a short message with your wallet and publish it in a public gist on your GitHub account. From then on, pots on issues closed by your merged pull requests can be paid to that wallet. No GitHub login or app permission is involved.

  1. Connect the wallet to be paid

Payouts go to this address on Robinhood Chain. Use a wallet you control long-term; you can seal again later to replace it.

  2. Sign the seal

Enter your GitHub username. Your wallet signs the exact text below (a free signature, not a transaction).

The account whose pull requests should pay this wallet.

  3. Publish it as a public gist

Open gist.github.com while signed in as that GitHub user. Name the file pullmint-seal.txt, paste the text below exactly, and choose Create public gist.

    Sign the seal first.

  4. Submit the gist

Paste the gist URL. Pullmint reads it from GitHub's public API, checks that the gist belongs to the username in the message, and that the signature recovers to your wallet.
